Najarra Townsend

Najarra was three when she figured out what she was looking for in her life. In her early childhood she began modeling along with playing on stage shows in the local area. The actress continued to perform in theater and musicals throughout the remainder of her teenage years. At ten, she made her first big screen appearance co-starring in the movie "Menace". Najarra's role in the Sundance as well as the Cannes prize-winning "Me and You as Well As Everyone We Know" in 2005 received global attention. Najarra played the main character in several films, including "Tru Loved" and 'Marin Blue" and "Betty I am". Viewers were able to experience a whole new side of Najarra's young star when they were able to watch the horror film "Contracted" that was released by IFC Midnight in 2014.
