Tommy Lee-1-819x1024Thomas Lee Bass, a Greek-American musician and a founding member Motley Crue's heavy-metal band, is an American-Greek American musician. Lee is the drummer for a long time for Motley Crue, and was also the founder of Methods of Mayhem, a hip-hop metal group. The musician has also explored solo musical endeavors. Lee has a strong support for PETA as well as animal rights. In 2010, Lee wrote to Terry Prather, the president of SeaWorld protesting the treatment of Tilikum the orca. Lee believed that the orca ought to be released and stated that SeaWorld did not agree, because Tilikum is their main sperm donor. Lee stated that he was shocked by SeaWorld's insanity and insidious methods of getting Tilikum Sperm. Lee claimed that he'd avoid more tragedies of trainers suffering death, as these deaths were the result of whales' aversion towards being held in captivity.
